Is there a transaction fee?

Carbuyer123.co.uk do not charge a transaction fee. The price we agree is the price you receive.

Do you offer home appointments?

In an ideal world, we would like everybody to bring their vehicle to our local branch, however, we understand that sometimes this is not possible, so please give us a call and we will make an arrangement to come and visit you, at work, or at home.

How long will an appointment take?

You can expect an appointment to last no longer than 30 minutes.

Can you collect my car?

Yes, we have the resources to collect your car from your home or work. There is a standard charge of £49.99 to collect within a 10 mile radius.

Do you buy commercial vehicles/fleet vehicles?

Yes, we buy commercial vehicles. If the vehicle is subject to VAT, please provide a VAT invoice and VAT will be added to the sale price.

Where do I bring my vehicle?

Please bring your car, at your appointed time to our local Nuneaton branch, based at The Ropewalk Shopping Centre.

What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?

Please bring with you your vehicle’s V5 registration document, any service history booklets or documents, one photo ID, one proof of address (utility bill), any spare keys and your finance settlement letter (if applicable).

Can you settle finance on my car?

Yes, if your car has finance on it, we can settle it with your current finance provider and pay you the balance. If your valuation is lower than your finance settlement figure, we will ask you for the deficit.

Do you buy non-runners?

Yes, we happily purchase non runners. Obviously the price we pay will reflect this.

Do you buy deceased estate or probate cars?

Whilst it is a very sensitive time, we are still able to purchase your vehicle. You do not need to register the car in your name. We will require authority from you to sell the vehicle.

Do you buy cars with personalised plates on?

Yes, it is not a problem for you sell your car with a personalised number plate. In some instances we may be able to offer you more money.

My car details are not coming up when I enter my registration?

In rare circumstances are online system may not be able to recognise your car; if this is the case, please give us a call on 02477 676844 and we’ll give you a valuation over the phone.

What happens with my road tax?

After the vehicle has been purchased by us, we will notify the DVLA to SORN the vehicle. The DVLA will then rebate you any outstanding full months road fund license.

Do you buy imports?

Yes, we will buy imports. Our online system may not be able to value your vehicle, so please give us a call on 02477 676844 or email us the details to [email protected].

How is my valuation calculated?

Your valuation is derived from an industry standard valuation tool

Is my valuation likely to change?

Your valuation is guaranteed for 5 days from the point of inspection. Your valuation may change if your car has been modified or pending an inspection from one of our team.

What if the V5 registration is not in my name?

If the V5 document isn’t in your name, we will require written confirmation of the sale agreement from the owner or executer of the car.

What if I can’t find my V5 document?

We can still buy your car if you cannot find your V5 document. There will be a £75.00 DVLA charge to apply for a new V5.

Can I sell a car on behalf of a family member or friend?

Yes, we are happy to help you sell a car for your family or friends. We would require a signed confirmation letter from the owner, original photo ID of the owner, photos ID of the seller, proof of address that matches the V5 document and the bank account details of the owner for payment.
